If you are a casual home user looking for an all-in-one photo printer, then the Hewlett Packard (HP) Officejet J6480 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier, Fax may be more printer than you really need. The Officejet J6480 offers the home user quality photo printing from home but it lacks most of the quality printing functions available on comparable all-in-one printers, making this printer geared more toward the home business owner than the casual home user.

The Epson WorkForce 500 AIO Printer, Scanner, Copier, Fax represents a best of class value in the home office and small business AIO (all-in-one) printer market. With impressive performance and an even more impressive list of features, this workhorse is an unbeatable value for the price. About the only feature missing from this printer is network connectivity, but you can’t beat the price.

The Canon PIXMA MX310 AIO Printer, Scanner, Copier, Fax is a true AIO (all-in-one) printer targeted to the light/medium duty small or home office market. Its built-in ADF (automatic document feeder) and fax/modem place it squarely in the business class, while its lack of photo-friendly features keeps it out of the home market. It features acceptable printing, scanning and copying speeds and excellent paper handling capability.
