For all you sound junkies out there, listen up to this, the Klipsch Custom-3 is available now and provides more bang for your buck. Ok, the pun was intended. Seriously though, you would probably need to be sincere about your sound to drop the cash for these headphones, but have no doubt, they are not your average sound generating devices.

More than just headphones, it also comes with a clamshell style case that is packed full of goodies to make this the perfect headphone set. Five sets of ear tips, an airplane adapter, a quarter-inch adapter, a cleaning tool, and a partridge in a pear tree. Well, the last one was debated on, but was a logistical nightmare. Bird aside, it comes with everything you need to enjoy the music you love.

There are a lot of interesting new products out there and the Skullcandy MFM Pro certainly fits in the category of “Well duh, that makes sense.” With as popular as MP3 players have been over the past few years, this is a nonsensical addition to the pack. At 1 gig, it will play over an hour of music through quality speakers with 40mm drivers.

Though this may be a good idea, there is really only a certain demographic that will flock to these however due to the size and design of the headphones. As if we really need to give teenagers one more reason to act like they didn’t hear their parents beckoning, it does make a great gift for the younger market, giving them an MP3 player and a nice set of wireless headphones at the same time.

The AKG K 271 Studio headphones are circumaural headphones (or close-backed), which are used most often in recording studios to reduce any external background noise while keeping in the internal music. These headphones are large, comfortable and cover the entire ear; a sealing mechanism (such as a rubberized foam ring) is used to keep unwanted sound out. Keep in mind that while the ring is comfortable, it may get a bit warm inside and the area around your ear may sweat a bit after long periods of use.

I have been using this Plantronics CS-55H wireless headset at work for about two years now and it beats using the handset for any desk phone any day. I work in an ITS (Information and Technology Services) department and believe me when I say this: no one in IT can work without a wireless headset for their phone.
