Generally speaking, the customer service is great with a Fitbit, and the app is excellently built and user-friendly.

I have the elegant i5 smartband but it's unreliable.. I'm looking for a similar reliable model. I'm not a fitness freak. I just want a step counter, sleep monitor and notifications of text messages, calls and wattsapp. I'm looking at Fitbit alta and garmin vivo2. What do you recommend?

Of those two options, Alta has wireless notifications built in.
