Maintenance
The iRobot Roomba i4+ Evo is a low-maintenance robot vacuum that requires regular filter replacement, brush cleaning, and occasional emptying of the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal docking station.
The iRobot Roomba i4+ Evo requires regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. The filter needs to be replaced every two to three months, depending on usage, and the app will notify you when it's time to replace it. The multi-surface rubber brushes are easy to remove and replace, making cleaning a breeze.
The dustbin is designed to empty itself into the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal docking station, which can hold up to 60 days of cleanings. The charging dock and robot contacts should be kept clean and free of debris, and the Clean Base should be emptied periodically. The lithium-ion battery is built-in and non-removable, but is designed to last for many years.
If it needs to be replaced, it should be done by an iRobot authorized service provider.
