I have 2 Vizio TV's; one in the LR, which is 38" and in the BR which is 24". I don't know which Roku to purchase for both of them. I currently have Frontier cable but am looking to cut the cord. I will keep my Frontier internet.

A: Depends on how old your TVs are

What model TVs do you have an how old are they? The Roku Express+ is better for older TVs because it works with both HDMI and composite cable.

There's no need to get a Roku Premiere model because the 4K HD streaming is really for enormous screens only, and they are more expensive. So I would recommend the Roku Streaming Stick 3600R if you have newer TVs.

I live in an area for which TV reception is not reliable e.g. the TV connected to Dish receives many channels but even with an indoor antenna that I move around constantly, the other TV in the home gets three-five channels and sometimes only sporadically. Will the Roku or Fire Stick work for me or will I have the same issues with reception? Thank you.

A: Depends on your internet connection

Unlike satellite dishes, streaming media players like Roku and the Fire Stick rely in your internet connection, rather than satellite signals or your cable provider. Some players allow you to view content that you have pre-downloaded onto your computer or phone/tablet, but you will still need to have internet connection to install updates and set it up. If you have a fast and reliable internet connection, you won't have any issues.
