I played a student flute, Bundy/Selmer 5th grade thru high school. Then I didn't play it for decades. (It was fully serviced this past year.) I recently started playing it again in church. I don't need a pro flute by any means, but I would like to find one that has a fuller sound. I don't want to invest thousands of dollars but would like to step up to a better flute. Suggestions?

Mixed reviews of the Herche fl-297. I have played my little Bundy flute for about 60 yrs. I have found that the higher tones are not what they used to be. Does the Herche have good tones, or am I expecting too much from a student instrument

What is the difference between a Jean Paul Fl-220 and Fl-400 flute. 220's are everywhere for about $180.00. The 400's are available for about the same price. Why different flutes for about the same price ?
