We have large area rugs in 3 rooms on top of laminate floors and have problems with the black in our rugs, The roomba will not work on the black in our home. The black causes errors to occur. Will this happen with the powerbot?

Overall, a robotic vacuum is not the best choice for shag carpeting. Most will struggle on shag, or even high pile carpets. An iRobot Roomba 980 would work better on thick carpeting than an ILife V3s (although it'll likely still get stuck sometimes). The Neato Botvac D80 would be a great choice if you were strictly talking about medium to high pile carpet, but true shag carpet would get tangled in vacuum robots brushes, much like it would on a regular vacuum that uses spinning brushes.

Does it get caught u on wires or other stufff

A:

The Samsung Powerbot is designed to handle the issues wires may cause. It has really large wheels that help it a great deal when handling wires, excellent navigation, and coverage. That being said, it’s not a perfect thing, and every now, and again it may still get caught in a wire. It's good to make sure and remove any wire that may have a sharp end to it to avoid dragging an object on flooring, such as hardwood.
