Neither Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch 2017 nor Microsoft Surface Pro 4 were recommended by experts this month
On 9 Apr 2024 (10 days ago) we went through 100 Tablet expert endorsements , however neither Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch 2017 nor Microsoft Surface Pro 4 were included in any of those recommendations. Since neither Tablet received a single endorsement, as far as expert recommendations go, it's technically a tie. We do, however, recommend taking a look at Apple iPad Air (2022) or other critically acclaimed Tablets of this month.
For reference, Apple iPad Air (2022) received 8 endorsements this month, from Laptop Mag (2 Oct 2023), Tom's Guide (22 Mar 2024) WIRED (23 Nov 2023) and 5 others.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a well-known and one of the most expensive options. It's in the top 3 bestselling tablets and has many popular alternatives in the same price range, such as Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable or Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 2021 .
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is $313.78 more expensive than an average tablet ($349).
