Neither LG UP870 nor LG UP875 were recommended by experts this month
On 9 Jan 2025 (11 months ago) we went through 65 Blu-ray Player expert endorsements , however neither LG UP870 nor LG UP875 were included in any of those recommendations. Since neither Blu-ray Player received a single endorsement, as far as expert recommendations go, it's technically a tie. We do, however, recommend taking a look at Panasonic UB820 or other critically acclaimed Blu-ray Players of this month.
For reference, Panasonic UB820 received 6 endorsements this month, from Wirecutter (26 Apr 2024), The Master Switch (3 May 2021) IndieWire (18 Nov 2021) and 3 others.
