- The Ultraboost 22 has a socklike knit upper that cradles the foot well and a plastic midfoot cage that provides just the right amount of lateral support.
- The BOOST technology in the midsole provides energy return and a bonus pep in the step, making it a good option for tired legs and recovery runs.
- The Continental rubber outsole easily grips during wet conditions and adds durability to the shoe, making it one of the most bombproof shoes tested this season.
- The shoe is heavy and not ideal for long mileage or superlong runs during marathon training.
- The low-volume toe box may be too snug for runners with wider feet.
- The high price tag of $190 may be a deterrent for some buyers.
- Lighter than other Ultraboost shoes, making it more enjoyable for any type of run.
- Durable, good-looking design that can be worn casually as well.
- Outsole grips well on both road and light trails.
- Forefoot lacks cushioning, which can create discomfort on longer runs.
- Not well-suited for faster runs or flat-out speed sessions.
- Expensive for a cushioned training shoe compared to other options on the market.
