The Samsung HW-Q800A is a Dolby Atmos soundbar that offers deeply satisfying sound for a good price

Sony HT-G700 review: Room-filling sound at a premium price
The Sony HT-G700 is a 3.1-channel soundbar that simulates both height and surround effects from Dolby Atmos streams, and does a great job at generating a sense of space that fills the room. While it lacks "true" height effects, it outperforms competing all-in-one models in terms of audio processing and the addition of a wireless subwoofer.
+ pros
  • Excellent at generating a sense of space that fills the room.
  • Comes with a wireless subwoofer that outdoes competing all-in-one models.
  • Offers more flexibility in device usage with a separate HDMI input.
  • Has a number of excellent presets for audio processing, including dedicated Cinema and Music modes.
  • Capable of a truly entertaining performance, particularly with movies.
- cons
  • Lacks "true" Dolby Atmos playback and physical height effects.
  • Costs $100 more than the Vizio SB36512-F6 bar, which offers more features.
  • Sound can be a little hemmed in and boxy at times.
