Neither Black & Decker LST522 nor Black+Decker LSTE523 were recommended by experts this month
On 9 Jan 2025 (2 months ago) we went through 73 String Trimmer expert endorsements , however neither Black & Decker LST522 nor Black+Decker LSTE523 were included in any of those recommendations. Since neither String Trimmer received a single endorsement, as far as expert recommendations go, it's technically a tie. We do, however, recommend taking a look at Worx WG163 GT or other critically acclaimed String Lawn Trimmers of this month.

The BLACK and DECKER LST522 20V MAX String Trimmer is a budget-friendly option that performs well for light yard work and works great as an edger. However, it may struggle with thicker and tougher jobs and the build quality is not the best.
